“Development of technical and technological schemes and control systems for heat supply of settlements on the basis of thermodynamic approaches” (IEE together with the Faculty of Heat and Power Engineering, supervisor Voloshchuk VA, implementation period 2020-2021)
Developed on the basis of thermodynamic analysis of mathematical models of promising and innovative technical and technological solutions (houses with low energy consumption, low-temperature heating systems and high-temperature cooling systems, combined heat pumps, cogeneration plants, energy batteries, solar collectors and panels, etc.). Developed and implemented on the basis of the proposed thermodynamic approaches of algorithms and computer models of heating systems. Criteria for exergetic evaluation (including in-depth) of heat supply systems at the stage of design and operation are proposed, variables and transients are taken into account due to weather and climatic factors, as well as different ratios of reference parameters (above, below, intersects).
Results of work: 10 scientific articles were published, of which 3 – in foreign publications included in Scopus, WoS; 5 – in professional publications of category B, published materials of 8 reports at scientific conferences (of which 4 – international).
The development corresponds to the world level. It is planned to use the results of KPI research. Igor Sikorsky, in higher educational institutions of Ukraine in terms of improving the efficiency of energy management, SE “NDIBK” in terms of harmonizing the Ukrainian regulatory framework for energy efficiency assessment of buildings and more.
“Scientific principles of analysis of methods to increase the level of energy efficiency of buildings to almost zero energy consumption” (supervisor VI Deshko)
Information on engineering systems, heat supply sources, comfort conditions for the formation of the structure of pilot buildings was obtained. Actual values were used to refine the input parameters of mathematical models to determine the energy performance of buildings. Dynamic models – for recommendations on the possibility of improving the energy efficiency of buildings as complex energy systems, taking into account operational and behavioral characteristics. Dynamic mathematical models have been created to predict the energy consumption of buildings before and after reconstruction. Improved methodologies for energy analysis, using dynamic simulation 3D-models, aimed at determining the rational modes of intermittent heating, taking into account the data of experiments to determine air exchange in residential and public buildings of different periods of construction. Improved operating parameters brought the simulation closer to real conditions and allowed to more accurately predict the load on the heating system. A model for assessing the interaction of consumers and producers of thermal energy in the framework of market relations has been developed, which takes into account the schedules of different sources and needs of consumers and reconciles them based on multi-criteria methods of choosing rational modes of operation.
Results of work: 14 scientific articles were published, of which 3 – in foreign publications included in Scopus, WoS; 9 – in professional publications of category B, published materials of 10 reports at scientific conferences (of which 5 – international).
